Able Community Social Responsibility for Community Engagement program The most satisfied community families and youth feel they are making a difference at Able Community. At Able Community, we want to make sure that our sponsor companies’ employees act as responsible citizens and have opportunities to get involved in supporting causes that are important to them. We encourage community members and employees to support Community Engagement programs that work in our key philanthropy pillars — Food Distribution, Youth Mental Health Awareness and Resources, Skills Training for Youth and Minority Families, and Giving Back to Communities.

We believe that the most satisfied employees are those who feel like they are making a difference. At Able CoWe encourage our volunteers to support organizations that work in our key philanthropy pillars — Food for Humanity with Care (FoodHC), minority youth mental health awareness and resources, job skills guidance and resources for minority families, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), humanitarian endeavors, and giving back to communities. Through our volunteer time off program, employees can take up to 4 to 24 hours per calendar year to volunteer for causes they care about and want to support. To increase employee participation, in FY25, we are introducing a Volunteer Grant program to employees who volunteer three hours or more.

This initiative encourages employees to volunteer their time and rewards their efforts with additional funds that can then be donated to an eligible nonprofit organization. We will establish a Philanthropy Committee, which meets quarterly with business and community leaders across the United States and Canada. The committee shall oversee our volunteer time off and company match activities, help promote the program, and drive participation.

Our Pillars Investing in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Education

  • We focus on creating a diverse and inclusive next generation of technologists and engineers from historically underrepresented groups in our industry. Supporting Humanitarian Endeavors
  • We support global communities when they are affected by adverse circumstances, from geopolitical events to natural disasters. Giving Back to Communities
  • We engage with the communities where we live and work through service and volunteerism.

Able Community Engagement Projects across the world

Minority Communities Nonprofits Engagement

Minority communities’ nonprofit engagement is fundamental to our family’s solution program success and influences our decisions. Able Community approaches this by engaging a wide range of internal and external partners and families to deeply understand their priorities and key concerns. Their inputs, in turn, help inform our sustainability strategy.

Thriving Communities

At Able Community, we foster a culture built upon the highest ethical standards and strong accountability. This culture encompasses an inclusive volunteer environment that celebrates diversity and provides opportunities for families and youth growth and mobility.
